How often should a cat pee and poop?
How often should a cat pee?
Cats typically urinate 2 to 3 times a day. When fed dry food, they consume about 40cc of water per kilogram of body weight, which can affect urine volume. A sudden decrease in urine or signs of difficulty urinating may indicate a urinary tract infection or bladder stones. If unusual urination patterns persist for several days, please consult a veterinarian.
How often should a cat poop?
Cats usually defecate 1 to 2 times a day. Healthy cat feces are brown and have a firm shape. A sudden drop in stool volume may suggest dehydration, constipation, or in severe cases, an intestinal blockage. If changes in frequency, shape, color, or smell last for several days, it is recommended to see a veterinarian.
What changes should I watch for?
See a vet promptly if urination drops suddenly, or if your cat visits the box often but passes little. More than two days without stool, or losing over 5% of body weight in a month, also warrants a visit.
Why track it at all?
Urinary problems, bladder stones, constipation and dehydration often show up first in the litter box. With a history saved, you can tell your vet exactly when and how things changed instead of guessing.

Where are my records stored?
On your phone by default. No sign-up, no internet needed. If you sign in and use Pro, records are also kept in the cloud so they follow you to another device. Photos are never uploaded either way.
Will my records move to a new phone?
With Pro and a sign-in, your records are kept in the cloud — sign in on the new phone and they are there. Without it, records live only on this device and go away with the app.
How does it work with several cats?
Create a profile for each cat and you can record them all on one screen, with no switching. The calendar shows whose entry it was.
How often should I weigh my cat?
Once or twice a month is enough for a healthy adult cat. Weekly is better for a kitten or a cat on a diet. Weigh at the same time of day so the numbers are comparable.
The reminder is not arriving
It stays silent on days you have already recorded. If nothing arrives on an empty day, check whether notifications for this app are turned off or a battery saver is limiting it.
What does Pro change?
Three things: play sessions become unlimited, your records are kept in the cloud so they follow you to another device, and ads disappear. Records, the calendar and the charts are all free either way.
What happens to my records if I stop subscribing?
Nothing is deleted. New records simply stop being kept in the cloud, and whatever you already saved is still yours — sign in and you can download it back at any time, with or without Pro. What is on your device stays as it is.
